Collaboration with Oracle Academy
The free educational program Oracle Academy provides educational institutions and instructors worldwide with technological and teaching resources that help them enhance students’ knowledge and skills and prepare them for the job market. The freely available resources include access to Oracle’s technology and application software, as well as its cloud services, along with educational material in various formats covering Java, databases, SQL, cloud computing, AI, machine learning, application development, analytics, big data, project management, and enterprise resource management. It also offers opportunities for professional certification and professional development for instructors and students, as well as the possibility to participate in ERASMUS projects in collaboration with other member universities of the program.
The University of Thessaly and the Department of Digital Systems are members of Oracle Academy, represented by Dr. Georgia Garani, Professor of the Department and of the MSc Program.
