Purpose & Learning Outcomes

The MSc program aims to:

  • prepare specialized and highly qualified professionals for employment in public and private sector organizations in the field of Data Science,
  • prepare graduates for doctoral-level studies in the same academic field,
  • promote research in the field of Data Science.

Learning outcomes and qualifications awarded upon successful completion of the program include:

  • understanding the data lifecycle, from collection and cleaning to storage, analysis, visualization, and decision-making,
  • ability to use software tools and programming languages appropriate for data science,
  • ability to apply and understand machine learning methods and algorithms for decision-making,
  • ability to analyze large datasets using algorithms and tools for knowledge extraction,
  • experience in solving programming and analytical challenges related to data science,
  • application of data science methodologies to real-world problems and domains such as healthcare, financial services, marketing, and cybersecurity.
